MAHOGANY SHEET 915mm x 100mm x 0.9mm

Mahogany sheets for model making and design applications. Each sheet measures 100 x 915mm. Mahogany is a medium to dark reddish-brown wood with fairly fine texture. The grain can sometimes be wavy and colour tone may vary piece-to-piece. Danish oil will bring out the beauty in the wood. Use a wood glue to adhere. Remove any wood glue seeping out of the joints quickly with a damp cloth, since leaving it will change the colour of the wood. If you wish to finish the mahogany with a gloss or satin varnish, we recommend using a sanding sealer first. This will minimise absorption of the varnish into the wood, thereby maximising the effect of the gloss or satin finish. If you need to paint the mahogany, use a primer first.
